Price Book
The Price Book can be used to perform searches of all parts in SalesDoc Architect parts/pricing database. Pricebook searches of other databases (e.g., Tigerpaw) are also available.
- Click the Price Book button on the SalesDoc Architect toolbar to access the Price Book
- Once the Price Book is open, enter one or more criteria to use in the search
- View the returned list of parts or part
- Click the part (to select multiple parts, click them while holding the Control key on the keyboard)
- Click the Insert Selected Items into Quote button and the selected part(s) will be inserted into the Write-In Module (unless cursor is on an Assemblies tab, in which case the parts will be inserted there).
To see ALL parts in the database, simply click “OK” with all the search fields empty.
Use the “*” character as the wildcard.
To enter the “*” wildcard character; simply enter “headphone” in the Part Description search box.
SalesDoc Architect will bring in all appropriate pricing/costing information for the part(s), and also bring in any labor, part/doc associations and engineering information required to configure peripheral products if this information exists in the company’s parts/pricing database. Once the part(s) are inserted into the Write-In module, modify the quantities as necessary.
