We are constantly improving SalesDoc Architect based on feedback from customers, changing market dynamics and new technical innovations. We release an update to SalesDoc Architect on an approximately once-per-month basis, with subscribers being automatically upgraded to the new edition.

END-USER APPLICATION CHANGES
- Updated! We’ve optimized the document builder application to build Word outputs faster than ever!
- New! “Replace tab with new (blank) version” now brings the new tab in the same relative position as the old tab that it replaces.
- New! You can now overwrite Tigerpaw costing on items brought into the Write-In tab by changing the Unit Cost cell (column AH) on the Write-In tab.
- New! SalesDoc Architect now works with Office 2013, although we recommend holding off on upgrading to Office 2013 until Microsoft issues its first service pack. Currently, Office 2013 runs SDA more slowly and with odd screen updates. However, all of the functions and features work!
ARCHITECT MANAGER CHANGES
- New! Updated setup files have been created for end-users and managers. You can download the latest end-user setup file via the “Download user setup file” button on the Network Setup screen (which you can access via File, Setup) within Architect Manager. Please contact CorsPro support if you need the manager setup file.
- New! As mentioned last month, we’ve simplified the new user installation process and expanded the options for distributing SalesDoc Architect updates to end users. We have also added the ability to push out updates via a shared network folder or a password-protected FTP site. For more information, please refer to the ‘Network Setup’ help topic in Architect Manager’s help files or register for our May 3 webinar on this topic.
VENDOR CONTENT CHANGES – AVAYA
- Updated the Avaya EC import to deal with the new format coming out in May.
- Added new part numbers and associated doc sections for the following Ethernet Routing Switches: 2500 series, 3500 series, 4000 series, 5000 series, and 8000 series. Associated doc sections against the appropriate part numbers.
- Added new doc sections for Avaya IP Office Management Tools and Avaya IP Office Multisite Option. Associated doc sections against the appropriate part numbers.
- Removed any part number and ItemCat association with the Avaya Going Green doc section. To include this section you must now manually select it from the Avaya doc selector tab.
- Removed ItemCat/Part Number associations for IPO Mobile Worker and IPO Teleworker against part number 267786 IPO R8+ ESSNTL EDITION+ LIC LICENSE_ONLY-RFA. Mobile Worker and Teleworker doc sections will no longer be brought in when part number 267786 is in the configuration.
- Architect Managers: please run the Parts Master report sorted by last update date (descending) to see all of the latest updates.
VENDOR CONTENT CHANGES – MITEL
- There are no Mitel updates this month.
VENDOR CONTENT CHANGES – NEC
- Added new “M” category to capture new SMB category. This category, along with “R – SV8500”, will still have an NEC Platform Product Category and will be labeled as such on the Schedule of Equipment and Services.
- Added install hours to multiple parts along with associated labor categories
- Changed all the UM8000 parts to product category “NEC Platform” (it used to be “NEC Applications”)

VENDOR CONTENT CHANGES – SHORETEL
- Added 13.2 general release software parts.
- Added IBM Sametime and Communicator for Sametime parts.
- Added Small Business Edition 100 bundles. Note: the items included within each bundle are detailed in SDA’s part notes, which you can access in Architect Manager (via the Parts Master or Parts Master report) or in SalesDoc Architect (end-user app) via the “Part Notes” button.
- Added UC Server 20.
- Added SBE 100 upgrade to enterprise.
- Added NEW doc sections for the UC Server 20 and Sametime.
